We know there is a great deal of information, stress, and confusion regarding the cost of pet medical care. Certainly you love your pet and want to be able to cover any costs associated with medical care or an emergency. But significant amount of people may worry that they may not be able to afford medical bills for a sick or injured cat or dog.
At Billings Animal Family Hospital, we know it can be financially difficult to commit to your pet’s long-term care, so we’ve decided to make it a little easier for you.
H3 Wellness Plus Card
To continue our tradition of offering affordable excellent veterinary care to your pet, we are now offering a new pet wellness plan feature for our clients. Through a company called Veterinary Credit Plans we are the first in our area to offer the H3 Wellness Plus Card.
The requirements and terms are different from Care Credit with this plan, and we aim to serve our clients with the following basic plans:
Kitten – All kitten vaccines (including leukemia), fecal and deworming, leukemia test, spay or neuter and all associated treatments (fluids, pain medication, anesthesia, etc.)
Puppy – All puppy vaccines (including bordatella (kennel cough)), fecal and deworming, spay or neuter and all associated treatments (fluids, pain medication, anesthesia, etc.)
Adult Canine/Feline Maintenance – Includes Annual Exam, all core vaccines, fecal and deworming, heartworm testing and junior wellness blood panel.
Senior Canine/Feline Wellness – Includes exam, core vaccines, blood pressure, eye pressure (tonometry) measurements, fecal sample, senior blood testing and urinalysis.

Pet Insurance: Is it Worth It?
Any internet search will provide tons of information on available pet insurance. While this can be an effective way to offset any catastrophic bill, pet insurance may not be worth it if your pet is healthy, active, and safe.
Our Wellness Plans can be purchased upfront when you first adopt a puppy or kitten and evolve as your pet grows. The rates are significantly discounted and we pass those savings onto you.
If you sign up for the H3 Wellness Plus card you will only be able to use it here; presently we are the only organization in Billings that is aligned with Veterinary Credit Plans. In addition to the H3 Wellness Plus card, we also accept CareCredit. However, if you apply your CareCredit card towards your pet’s annual exams, medical services, and vaccines the discounts applied on the H3 plan won’t be included.
